The manga adaptation of the light novel 「ハズレスキル”おもいだす”で記憶を取り戻した大賢者〜現代知識と最強魔法の融合で、異世界を無双する〜」 (Hazure Skill “Omoidas” de Kioku wo Torimodosha — A Sage Who Reclaims Memories with a Useless Skill, Dominating Another World by Fusing Modern Knowledge with Supreme Magic), Volume 1, by Izumi Soya, went on official sale on May 25 under the publisher Hifumi Shobo in the Nova Comics imprint.
This work is a manga adaptation of the original light novel by Nobuyuki Nono, telling the story of Kenko Kurono, a young man summoned to another world as one of a group of heroes.
Synopsis
While the other heroes received powerful “Gifts,” Kenko was stuck with a skill that seemed completely worthless — “Omoidas” (Recall). Because of this, he was driven out of the royal capital with nowhere to turn.
When he came face to face with a fearsome demon and nearly lost his life, the “Recall” skill triggered memories of his past life, revealing that he was a Great Sage — the mightiest of an ancient era. He then reunited with a companion from that former life and set out on a journey to reclaim the power of the Great Sage he once wielded.
The story’s central theme is the fusion of knowledge from the modern world with supreme ancient magic — and Kenko’s path to proving himself in another world begins here in the first volume of the manga.
