The staff for the TV anime based on the light novel series I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (Japanese title: Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Ittekara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita.) by Ezogingitune and illustrator DeeCHA announced two additional cast members this week.
Miharu Hanai will play Charlotte, Erik’s eldest daughter, while Suzuna Kinoshita will play Mary, Erik’s youngest daughter.
Synopsis
Luck decides to hold back an endless horde of demons alone so that his companions can escape safely. Through luck, skill and cunning, he manages to keep fighting for 10 full years and ultimately turns the tide with his own hands. But when the war ends, he faces a new question: how should he live in a world that sees him as a legend, a veteran warrior and a newcomer to society all at once?

Broadcast Schedule and Original Work
The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 6. It was originally planned for April, but the staff delayed it in order to deliver a more polished work to viewers.
The original web novel began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in June 2018, before the first light novel volume was released in February 2019. There are currently seven volumes, and volume 8 will be released on July 15.
The manga adaptation by Chaco Abeno, with Kitsune Tennōji credited for composition, began on Square Enix’s Manga UP! service in August 2019. The 19th compiled volume was released on April 7. The novels and manga together have more than 4.45 million copies in circulation. Square Enix and Comikey handle the English release of the manga.
