A stage play titled Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku The Stage has been announced to celebrate the broadcast of the second TV anime season, Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku restart. The production will run from January 8 to 13, 2027 at Owlspot Theatre in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The TV anime itself begins airing on October 5.
About the Source Material
Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku (Magical Girl Raising Project) is a light novel series by Asari Endou, published by Takarajimasha since 2012. The story follows a brutal battle-royale-style competition among 16 magical girls fighting to keep their powers — and their lives. Character designs are by Maruino.
The Stage Production
The play will dramatise the origin story of the series using staging techniques unique to live theatre. Nagata Saki serves as both playwright and director, with Odd Entertainment producing.
