Fans of 【Oshi no Ko】 in the Kyushu region have something to celebrate: the “Manga 【Oshi no Ko】 Exhibition -Hoshi no Kiseki-“ is heading to Kagoshima for its first-ever Kyushu stop. The exhibition will be held on the 6th floor of the Kakuix Koryū Center (Kagoshima Prefectural Citizens’ Exchange Center), opening on November 7, 2026.
About 【Oshi no Ko】
【Oshi no Ko】 is a manga serialized in Weekly Young Jump, written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. The story follows the mystery surrounding the sudden death of idol Ai, the revenge quest of her son Aqua — who was reincarnated as her child — and an unflinching look at the dark side of the entertainment industry. The series has surpassed 25 million copies in worldwide circulation and was adapted into a TV anime (Season 1 in April 2023, Season 2 in July 2024), as well as a stage play and live-action drama. Its bold premise and shocking twists generated massive buzz across social media.
From Tokyo to Kagoshima
The exhibition originally ran in Tokyo from July 22 to August 11, 2026. The Kagoshima venue marks its first appearance in Kyushu. Visitors can look forward to immersive displays of iconic manga scenes and story moments through illustrations, alongside comments from Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the series.
The exhibition’s key visual features a newly drawn illustration of Hoshino Ai by Mengo Yokoyari, accompanied by the tagline “Even so — I’m truly glad I got to meet her.” The image encapsulates the gaze of protagonist Hoshino Aqua and the feelings of every reader who followed the story to its end.
Exhibition Highlights

The venue will also feature a massive exclusive photo spot using specially drawn illustrations — the kind of eye-catching display that even social-media pro MEM-cho would approve of.
