ASMIK Ace revealed a major batch of information for the original television anime Mebius Dust from Dōga Kōbō on Thursday, including the first main promotional video, a new key visual, additional cast and staff members, and the official July 9 premiere date.
The anime is adapted from the story of the same name by Hajime Shinagawa, which won the grand prize in the “Kids/Game” category of the Project Anima competition in 2019. It is the third anime produced from a winning work in the project.
Theme Songs
The main trailer reveals the ending theme “Dilemma”, performed by Ai Tomioka, and previews the opening theme “Mebius” by Leo Ieiri, which had been announced previously.
Story
Araki, Stella, and Olga are high school students living in a warm neighborhood community. Whether they are playing games, stopping by a public bath, or heading home, their lives look ordinary at first glance. But behind that normality, something more may be hidden. The anime will air for one cour.

About Project Anima
Project Anima is a story competition for the general public held through platforms such as MangaBox and DeNA’s Everystar, with DeNA, Sotsu, Nippon Cultural Broadcasting, and MBS as organizers. The competition was divided into three categories.
Previous anime produced through the project include Sakugan (from the sci-fi/robot category, aired in October 2021) and Mahō Tsukai ni Narenakatta Onna no Ko no Hanashi (from the isekai/fantasy category, aired in October 2024). Mebius Dust will be the third work from the project.
