The new manga series Shiitagera reta Seijo Kouho wa, Rinkoku no Yandere Koushaku ni Dekiai sareru (“The Oppressed Saint Candidate Is Adored by the Yandere Duke of a Neighboring Kingdom”) launched today, July 5, on the digital manga platform Comic Seymour. The series is drawn by Kimono and is based on the original story by Miyu Kuroda.
Story
In a kingdom where it is customary for the chosen saint to marry into the royal family, a young woman named Amelia devotes herself wholeheartedly to serving her country — all in the hope of one day standing beside Yuushi, the crown prince she secretly loves.
Her dreams are shattered, however, when the title of saint is bestowed not upon her, but upon her cruel stepsister, Flaudia. In one fell swoop, Amelia loses both the man she loves and the position she worked so hard for.
Just when all seems lost, a young man named Teddy — a duke from a neighboring kingdom — appears before her and declares, “I’ve come to whisk you away.” Thus begins an obsessive, all-consuming love that will change Amelia’s life forever.
