Story Overview
The series centers on Shinomiya Nagi (四宮凪), a young woman whose perpetual bad luck has left her buried in debt. Her life takes a strange turn when she encounters Hatori (ハトリ), an odd-looking man with a head resembling a pigeon, who recruits her to become an “urban legend cleaner.”
The job involves neutralizing urban legends that have gained physical form through the power of being repeatedly told and believed. Suspicious of the shady-sounding work, Nagi is nonetheless won over by the extraordinary daily wage of 400,000 yen and agrees to take the gig.
