The production team behind the TV anime Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance has released the synopsis and a set of preview cuts from the series’ first episode.
Episode 1 Synopsis
The debut episode carries the subtitle “Kuse Shiina Origin: The Reason a Girl Living on a Remote Island Came to Live as a ‘Majin,’ and the Story That Begins There.” It centers on Kuse Shiina, a high school girl living on a remote island who moonlights as a hunter exterminating creatures known as “Invader Species.”
Shiina has been living a peaceful life on the island alongside her younger sister Setsuna, but that tranquility is shattered when a mysterious man attacks them, dragging Shiina into a fate bound up with the beings called “Majin.” The released preview cuts show the warm bond between Shiina and Setsuna, and also include a glimpse of Nanoha herself. The first episode will air as an extended 60-minute special.
