โลโก้และภาพประกอบโปรเจกต์ Ars Gratia จากสตูดิโอ Kasagi Labo

Singapore-based anime venture studio Kasagi Labo made a splash at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival, announcing three new projects during its panel. Animation news outlet Cartoon Brew reported the announcements.

Ars Gratia — An Original Sci-Fi Feature

The headline project is an original sci-fi animated feature tentatively titled Ars Gratia. Ilya Kuvshinov, known for his work on Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, is attached as both director and character designer. The film is being developed in partnership with Good Smile Company and LIDEN FILMS.

Casshan 2045 and Ninja Scroll Project Also Announced

Alongside Ars Gratia, Kasagi Labo revealed two additional projects: the tentatively titled Casshan 2045 and a new project connected to the Ninja Scroll franchise. Further details on both titles have yet to be disclosed.

Kasagi Labo’s $10 Million Anime Commitment

The studio had previously announced in November 2024 that it would commit US$10 million toward anime production. The trio of Annecy announcements marks the first concrete steps in fulfilling that pledge.
