The TV anime Neko to Ryuu (Cat and Dragon) has released official scene cuts and a synopsis for its first episode.

Episode 1 Synopsis — “Neko to Ryuu”

The opening episode shares its name with the series itself. Deep in a forest teeming with magical beasts, a mother cat gives birth to her kittens in the warmth of a cave. But the moment is interrupted when a tiny fire-breathing baby dragon crawls out from beneath a mound of dry leaves — a newborn who has already lost its true mother. Moved by the sight, the mother cat resolves to raise the dragon hatchling as her own, crossing the boundaries of species.
