The 「映像研には手を出すな！連載10周年記念 大・映像研展！」 — a special exhibition marking the 10th serialization anniversary of Ohtsuka Sumito‘s manga Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! (Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!) — opens tomorrow, June 26, and runs through July 12, 2026 at the 7th floor of Kitasenju Marui in Tokyo. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily, with last admission at 6:30 p.m. Merchandise details were also unveiled today.
What’s on Display
The exhibition will feature original manuscripts, storyboards, rough sketches, and design documents handwritten by Ohtsuka himself. A dedicated section traces the visual evolution of main characters Asakusa Midori, Kanamori Sayaka, and Mizusaki Tsubame, alongside the series’ logo history.
Highlights include a layer-by-layer illustration display that reveals hidden elements in original artwork, as well as floor plans of the club room and behind-the-scenes setting notes that were previously shared only among Ohtsuka’s assistants. Color pages that appear in black and white in the collected volumes will also be on show.

All items use the event’s key visual, and several pieces feature newly drawn illustrations created exclusively for the exhibition.

“This is a real, in-person event! (Apologies for the geographical limitations.) If you’re on the fence, please come. I designed this from the perspective of what I’d want to see myself — not just panels and manga cutouts lined up on boards, but unpublished rough sketches, fully internal documents like the club room blueprints and hidden settings that only my assistants have seen, color pages that went monochrome in the volumes, and a layered illustration display so you can see what was hidden. There are also new drawn-down illustrations and multiple new exclusive goods. I hope to see you there!!”
