Volume 1 of Muaisō Shitsujichō to Hajimeru Jōōheika no Monogatari-gakari (無愛想執事長と始める女王陛下の物語係) launched today, June 26, as a digital e-book through jirumite, a label under publisher forcs. The series is based on an original story by Shinsei Ohara, with art by Sayuri Sakai.
Synopsis
Aria is a light novel author who hasn’t released a new title in years and has all but faded from the industry. She travels to England to attend her sister’s wedding and visits a royal palace hoping to spark ideas for her next book.
While lost in thought about her story concept, Aria is suddenly swept away to another world and finds herself surrounded by soldiers in military uniforms. To prove she means no harm, she improvises and writes a story on the spot — a display that earns her the official appointment as the Queen’s Royal Storyteller.
The tale truly begins when Aria meets the Queen’s Head Butler, a composed and unflappable man, setting the stage for an unexpected partnership and adventure in an unfamiliar realm.
