The second cour of TV anime Daiya no Ace actII -Second Season- has been confirmed for an October broadcast on six TV Tokyo affiliate stations as well as AT-X and other channels. A teaser visual for the new cour has also been unveiled.
Aodai vs. Inashiro — A Rematch in the Finals
In the second cour, Seidou High School advances to the finals, where they will clash against Inashiro Industrial High School. For the Seidou nine, the match represents a chance to avenge last year’s defeat.
The newly released teaser visual depicts Miyuki Kazuya and Narumiya Mei facing each other in a tense standoff. The two have known each other since their Little League days and share a mutual respect for one another’s abilities.
GLAY and OxT Handle Theme Songs
For the second cour, GLAY will perform the opening theme, while OxT takes on the ending theme. Both artists have a long history of contributing music to the Daiya no Ace franchise.
About the Series
Daiya no Ace is based on the manga by Terajima Yuji and follows Sawamura Eijun, a young pitcher who enrolls at the prestigious Seidou High School and strives alongside his teammates to reach the top of high school baseball in Japan. The anime adaptation launched in 2013, with actII beginning in 2019. The first cour of actII -Second Season- started airing this past April.
