เคนอิจิ ซูซูมูระ นักพากย์เสียงชื่อดัง ประกาศกลับมาทำงานหลังพักรักษาตัว

Voice actor Kenichi Suzumura has officially returned to work following a hiatus that began in February of this year. His talent agency, Intention — which Suzumura himself founded in 2009 — had previously announced that he was in poor health and had been diagnosed with adjustment disorder.

This was not his first health-related break. Suzumura had previously gone on hiatus in May 2024 due to similar health concerns, gradually resuming his activities about two months later.

Notable Roles and Recent Achievements

Suzumura is widely recognized among anime fans for a number of iconic roles, including Sōgo Okita in the Gintama series, Shinn Asuka in both the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny television anime and the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM anime film, and Masato Hijirikawa in the Uta no Prince Sama series.

He has also lent his voice to Bravern in Brave Bang Bravern!, Shinichirō Niwa in Dog Signal, and Obanai Iguro in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc as well as the first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film. Most recently, he voiced Nezu in Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers.

In March, Suzumura took home the Singing Award at the 19th Annual Seiyū Awards for his performance in Brave Bang Bravern!

Upcoming Projects

With his return confirmed, fans can look forward to seeing Suzumura reprise his role as Nezu in the second half of Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers, as well as return as Julius Rapha Holfort in the second season of Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs.
