The military fantasy manga Senso Kyoshitsu (戦奏教室) — written by Soramozuku and illustrated by Tomori Higoro — has officially been announced for a TV anime adaptation in 2027. A teaser visual and a nearly four-minute teaser PV have been released alongside the announcement.
Story
The series follows Ryuka, a young boy serving as a bugler who relays battle commands to soldiers on the front lines. Despite belonging to a mercenary unit, Ryuka despises war and dreams of one day leaving the corps to become a musician. He also possesses a rare and extraordinary ability: he can see sound.
During a desperate battle in which his unit is pushed to its limits, Ryuka awakens a supernatural power known as Edatsuki (枝憑き) — and this awakening sets his fate on an entirely new course. The manga runs in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine and has been collected into 13 volumes to date.
Teaser PV
The newly released teaser PV runs just under four minutes and depicts Ryuka’s encounter with Zoe, a girl who also possesses the Edatsuki power, as well as the struggles and growth the characters experience along the way.

Animation production is handled by CA Soa, a new anime studio within the CyberAgent Group led by anime producer Ogawa Masakazu. CG production is entrusted to Shirogumi. The core staff lineup is as follows:
