To mark the premiere of the TV anime Tsuihō sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimama na Second Life wo Ōka suru — affectionately nicknamed “Chii-Fuyo” by fans — the production has launched a special project showcasing illustrations, messages, and videos contributed by notable figures from various fields.
Wakui Ken Opens the Project with a Three-Character Illustration
The first entry comes from Wakui Ken, the manga artist behind Tokyo Revengers. His original illustration features three characters: protagonist Rain, Hanbun — the leader of a semi-criminal gang — and Take, a member of that same crew.
Wakui accompanied the artwork with a congratulatory message:
“Congratulations on the anime adaptation of ‘Chii-Fuyo’!! My favourite character is Hanbun — I can’t wait to see the gang in action.”
Synopsis
Chii-Fuyo is a fantasy series following Rain, an enhancement sorcerer capable of granting “boost points” to virtually any object — weapons, armour, and beyond. When Guild Master Barios abruptly expels him from the guild on a whim, Rain decides to embrace a fresh start and enjoy his second life on his own terms.
