The 2026 Awa Odori festival in Tokushima is set to be more exciting than ever, as ufotable has announced a major collaboration with two beloved titles — Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) and Mahou Tsukai no Yoru (Witch on the Holy Night) — featuring exclusive collab goods and a special stamp rally running throughout the festival period.

About the Two Collaborating Works

Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Comics. It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy whose family is slaughtered by demons, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps (鬼殺隊) in a desperate bid to return his demon-turned sister Nezuko to humanity.

Mahou Tsukai no Yoru originated as a PC visual novel developed and released by TYPE-MOON in 2012. The scenario was written by Kinoko Nasu — the creator behind Kara no Kyoukai and the Fate series — with graphics by long-time TYPE-MOON collaborator Hirokazu Koyama. The iconic TYPE-MOON × ufotable partnership is now bringing the story to the big screen as a theatrical anime film, set to open on November 20, 2026.

Collab Goods: Where and When

To celebrate the collaboration, merchandise featuring special collab illustrations will go on sale from Tuesday, August 11 to Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the following venues:

  • ufotable Cafe Tokushima
  • Machi★Asobi CAFE Bizan (マチ★アソビCAFE眉山)
  • ufotable Cafe TOGO

Goods-only sales (no café service) will also be available at ufotable CINEMA and the 5th floor of the Amico Building in front of Tokushima Station (consignment sales).

ufotable Historical Stamp Rally

Alongside the goods, ufotable is hosting a stamp rally celebrating its history of Awa Odori illustrations. Six stamp stations will be set up across the Awa Odori festival grounds, each featuring artwork from ufotable’s past Awa Odori collaborations. Participants who collect all six stamps will receive a special postcard featuring the 2026 collab illustration.

The stamp rally runs concurrently with the goods sale — August 11–15, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 each day.

It’s a rare chance for fans of both Kimetsu no Yaiba and Mahou Tsukai no Yoru to enjoy Tokushima’s iconic summer festival alongside exclusive ufotable merchandise and activities.
