The production team behind the TV anime Magical★Explorer has officially confirmed that voice actress M·A·O will play Nanami, the fan-favourite cool-beauty maid character. M·A·O had previously voiced Nanami in a promotional video for Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko label, and will now carry the role into the full anime series. Alongside the casting announcement, a new teaser visual featuring Nanami has been released.
About Magical★Explorer
The anime is based on the light novel by Irisu, published under Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko imprint, with the full title Magical★Explorer: Eroge no Yuujin Chara ni Tensei Shita kedo, Game Chishiki Tsukatte Jiyuu ni Ikiru. The story follows a protagonist who is reincarnated as Takine Kosuke — the overlooked friend character in a legendary bishoujo game — and uses his knowledge of the game’s events to guide the heroines toward their happy endings, in what the series bills as a “reincarnation magic academy tale.”

Nanami topped the official Magical★Explorer character popularity poll. Despite her cool, composed exterior as a maid, she is known for her playful, goofy side — particularly the relentless “boke” comedy she performs toward her beloved master.
