The TV anime Shouzen (尚善), adapted from the manga by Jiang Jia Meizi, has been officially confirmed to premiere in April 2027 on Fuji TV. Alongside the announcement, the production has released its first promotional video (PV).
First PV Showcases Characters and Voice Cast
The PV opens on sweeping, vividly coloured natural landscapes before introducing the five main characters: Shouzen, Douzen, Ryojin, Kensei, and Chiro. Notably, the video also includes voice lines from each character, giving audiences an early taste of the series’ tone and atmosphere.
Story
The series follows the journey of Douzen and Shouzen, a human girl who has been raised by a monster. When Douzen takes Shouzen on as his apprentice, the two set off on an adventure together.

Source Manga Now Available on Raicomi
Ahead of the anime’s broadcast, the source manga began digital distribution on Raicomi on August 5. The first release made chapters 1 through 20 available simultaneously, with weekly Friday updates of one chapter each scheduled from August 14 onward.
