The official X/Twitter account for the original television anime Inherit the Winds (Kaze wo Tsugumono) announced on Wednesday that Simba Tsuchiya will voice Harada Sanosuke, adding to the previously revealed cast lineup.
Story
Set in Kyoto during the Bakumatsu era, the story follows an amnesiac soldier who is taken in by the celebrated Shinsengumi member Okita Sōji. Okita gives the man the name “Tachikawa Jinsuke,” and Jinsuke begins a new life among the Mibu soldiers.

Four-Panel Manga Adaptation
A four-panel manga adaptation drawn by Matsuri Muramatsu is set to launch in 2026 via Star Seas Company’s Twi4 (read as “Tsuiyon”) account on X.
About the Creator
Yutaka Narui is a playwright and founder of the theatrical troupe Caramel Box, known for numerous stage productions centered on the Shinsengumi. While one of his plays also carried the title Kaze wo Tsugumono, the kanji used to write “mono” differs between the play and the anime, and the anime is officially classified as an original work.
