KADOKAWA announced at a special stage event during TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 (TGS2026) on September 20, 2026, that the theme song for its upcoming game この素晴らしい世界に祝福を！～この愛すべき街に繁栄を！～ (abbreviated Machisuba) will be “WOOHOO!” — a brand-new track written and performed by Machico exclusively for the title.
About Machisuba
Machisuba is an “isekai trouble-life RPG” for smartphones and PC based on the popular anime series KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! The game retains the world and characters fans know from the anime and original novels while featuring an all-new original story.
Original author Akatsuki Natsume serves as production supervisor, with Mishima Kurone providing production support. The game is scheduled to launch sometime in 2026, though a specific date has not yet been announced. Pre-registration is currently open on the App Store and Google Play, and the PC version will be distributed via DMM GAMES.

The announcement was made at the DMM GAMES booth at TGS2026 at 3:00 PM on September 20. Fukushima Jun (voice of Kazuma) and KADOKAWA game producer Fujii Daiki appeared on stage, with Hyakka Ryoran serving as MC. An archive of the livestream is now available to watch.
Theme Song: “WOOHOO!” by Machico
Machico is no stranger to the KonoSuba franchise — she previously performed the anime’s opening themes “fantastic dreamer” and “TOMORROW.” For Machisuba, she has written and recorded “WOOHOO!” from scratch, crafting a song designed to capture the game’s lively, chaotic energy.
