Preview images from episode 1 of the TV anime Kashita Maryoku wa [Ribo Harai] de Kyōsei Chōshū (lit. “The Magic Power I Lent Will Be Forcibly Collected in Installments”) have been released ahead of the series’ premiere. Based on the original story by Masakichi and the manga adaptation by Iijima Shingo, the show is set to begin broadcasting on the night of Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Story
The story follows protagonist Rent, who receives an S-rank Gift called Mazōko — an ability that allows him to lend magical power to others. He forms a party called Dankū no Ken alongside childhood friends Guy and Misa, as well as healer El, supporting the group’s adventures. However, as Rent himself remains weak, he is gradually seen as a burden and is eventually expelled from the party without mercy. It is then that something strange begins to stir within his Gift.
ABEMA Livestream Special
On September 29, 2026 at 20:00 JST, ABEMA will host a special pre-broadcast livestream titled “Beginner-Friendly Installment Payment Explainer!” for the series. Voice actors Kawashima Reiji (Rent) and Katō Emiri (MP) will appear for talk segments and games.
