Fans of the Seishun Buta Yarou (Rascal Does Not Dream) theatrical anime series are in for a treat, as 109 Cinemas Shonan in Kanagawa Prefecture has announced a special one-day marathon screening of all four films in the franchise on November 11.
The event is being held to commemorate the cinema’s 15th anniversary. The occasion carries extra significance given that the Shonan area of Kanagawa serves as one of the key settings of the series itself.
Films Included in the Marathon
- Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume wo Minai — the first theatrical film, released in 2019
- Seishun Buta Yarou wa Odekake Sister no Yume wo Minai
- Seishun Buta Yarou wa Randoseru Girl no Yume wo Minai
- Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai — the latest entry and the concluding chapter of the series, currently in theaters
Tickets will go on sale via the official 109 Cinemas Shonan website at midnight on November 6. Full screening schedules and further details are available on the cinema’s official site.
