The manga volume 1 of Jajin Average: Heikin wo Nozonda Bishoujo, Isekai de Heikin-teki na Jajin to Naru went on sale on June 26 from Takarajimasha. The comic is drawn by Keisuke and adapts the original light novel by Kitaseno Yunaki.
Story
The protagonist, a girl named Anri, has always been self-conscious about her naturally sharp, intimidating eyes. One day she is suddenly summoned into a pitch-black void, where an evil god grants her a single wish. Hoping to shed her scary image, Anri wishes for “average eyes and an average presence.”
When she arrives in another world, however, she discovers the catch: her wish was interpreted according to the evil god’s own standards. Her stats are perfectly average — for an evil god — making her anything but ordinary.
The source light novel won the Gold Prize at the 3rd Narou-con awards. Yuzuki Kihiro is also credited as part of the creative team.
