ภาพ Key Visual ชุดที่ 3 ของ動畫 二十世紀電氣目録 -ユーレカ・エヴリカ- แสดงตัวละครหลักท่ามกลางแสงหลอดไฟ

Kyoto Animation’s latest TV anime, Nijuseiki Denki Mokuroku -Eureka Evrika- (二十世紀電氣目録 -ユーレカ・エヴリカ-), has unveiled its third key visual, a pre-broadcast PV, four additional cast members, and the title of its ending theme song ahead of its July 2026 premiere.

About the Series

Set in an alternate early-20th-century Kyoto where steam power flourished but electricity has yet to take hold, the story follows a boy grieving the loss of his older brother and a girl carrying longing and regret for her late mother, as the two embark on an adventure filled with wonder and discovery.

Third Key Visual & Pre-Broadcast PV

The new key visual places protagonists Kihachi and Inako at its center alongside the wider cast, rendered with expressive faces and the warm glow of electric bulbs as a visual motif.

The pre-broadcast PV features the opening theme 「ユーレカ・エヴリカ」, with lyrics and vocals by Goami Luna and composition/arrangement by Koto Hitomi. The video weaves in memorable lines of dialogue from the characters throughout.

The ending theme has also been officially titled 「Soarin’」, performed by Ginger Root, the project of Southern California-born artist Cameron Lew.

New Cast Members

  • Momokawa Jinuemon (Inako’s father) — Ienaka Hiroshi
  • Momokawa Naeko (Inako’s mother) — Asano Mayumi
  • Yagura BunshichiEndo Daichi
  • Tome / InariTakagaki Ayahi

Cast Comments

Ienaka Hiroshi described Jinuemon as a man torn between love for his family, devotion to sake brewing, and the heavy responsibilities of a family head. He said he focused on delivering the character’s conflicting emotions with sincerity and conviction.

Asano Mayumi said this is her first time playing a woman of the Meiji era (as reimagined in the series’ world), and was moved by a character who gives everything she has until the very last drop. She encouraged viewers to enjoy the series’ detailed visual beauty.

Endo Daichi noted that Bunshichi is a man rooted in old ways, entirely removed from the world of electricity. He was careful to ensure every line reading and reaction felt true to the world without breaking its delicate atmosphere.

Takagaki Ayahi shared that she initially imagined Tome as a middle-aged woman and was pleasantly surprised by the character design. As for Inari — an ermine-like creature — it marks her first time voicing such an animal; she researched the species’ behavior and explored new ways to use her voice. She also teased that she had already appeared briefly in the second PV in a role other than Tome or Inari, challenging fans to find the moment.
