Pia Corporation has announced the release of Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor Shiba Shigeo Pia, a character-focused mook dedicated to fan-favourite Shiba Shigeo from Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor EZY. The book is scheduled to go on sale on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor EZY is a brand-new theatrical anime entry in the long-running Patlabor franchise, structured across 8 episodes divided into 3 files. File 1 began screening on May 15, 2026, with File 2 set for August 14, 2026, and File 3 scheduled for March 2027. The project has generated significant buzz since its initial announcement.
A Mook Dedicated to Shiba Shigeo
Pia Corporation previously released character mooks for Izumi Noa (“泉野明ぴあ”) and Goto Kiichi (“後藤喜一ぴあ”). This new volume finally puts the spotlight squarely on Shiba Shigeo, featuring an exclusive cover illustration drawn specifically for this book by character designer Takada Akemi (高田明美).
