Japan’s weekly box office results: Super Mario Galaxy Movie reclaims No. 1 for the fourth week, Patlabor EZY “File 1” opens at No. 8, and the live-action Shojiki Fudosan debuts at No. 4.
The new HEADGEAR project Patlabor EZY received congratulatory messages from 14 notable figures including Hideaki Anno and manga artist Sumito Owara, while the week 2 theater giveaway — a special logo sticker set — has been revealed.
The anime 機動警察パトレイバー EZY (Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor EZY) has collected written endorsements from 14 prominent industry figures including Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, and will distribute six varieties of logo stickers to theater audiences starting May 22.
The official Patlabor EZY anime project website has released a full trailer and key visual for the theatrical film “File 2”, covering episodes 4 through 6, set for release on August 14.
